An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Full-Time (Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM-3:15 PM) About Us Providence Church Academy is a Christ-centered homeschool hybrid academy dedicated to partnering with families in providing an excellent academic education grounded in God's Word. Our mission is to cultivate a love for learning while helping students grow spiritually, academically, and socially in a nurturing, family-oriented environment. We are seeking a passionate, caring, and faith-filled elementary teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsibilities Plan and teach engaging lessons in core academic subjects. Foster a positive, Christ-centered classroom environment. Build meaningful relationships with students and families. Assess student progress and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration. Integrate biblical truth throughout daily instruction. Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents. Qualifications Education degree or teaching experience in the classroom. Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Passion for teaching and discipling children. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Agreement with Providence Church Academy's Statement of Faith. Background check required.
