What they do
An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

30-7:30, Reading/ELA, Math, Writing/Grammar Key Responsibilities Mush able to deliver in-class teaching/lecture in classroom setting. Supervise student arrival and dismissal (pick-up & drop-off) Monitor and ensure school homework completion Guide students through in-house workbook assignments Must grade students work and ensure answers are accurate Read aloud to lower elementary students Support independent reading and comprehension for upper-grade students Manage daily schedules and transition students to classes on time Maintain a focused and structured learning environment Qualifications Strong communication skills with children Responsible, organized, and detail-oriented Ability to support basic academic work Prior experience in education (tutoring, school, academy) preferred English proficiency required Preferred Qualifications Experience with Elementary or Middle School students Classroom management experience Background in Education or Child Development Work Schedule Monday - Friday (After School Hours:
