St. Bernadette School is seeking a 4th Grade Elementary Teacher to join our elementary school team. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in education or a liberal arts degree and a passion for Catholic education. He or she will demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching elementary-aged children and a deep sense of purpose in shaping their hearts and minds in partnership with families.Requirements:
Deliver curriculum lessons covering the core subject areas of reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. Instruct and instill the habits of mind necessary for academic success. Model and encourage student growth in Catholic virtues. Aim to deliver lessons in an engaging and joyful manner. Collaborate with colleagues to encourage student learning and character formation. Build rapport and communicate effectively with families to provide feedback on student progress.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or a bachelor's degree in a liberal arts program such as history, English, mathematics, science, philosophy, or psychology. Certification in Elementary Education Commitment to refining the craft of teaching. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents.
