COMPENSATION

Per the Collective Bargaining Agreement located on the DY website.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide high-quality instruction aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.

Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans in core subject areas including: Mathematics, English Language Arts, Science, Social Studies.

Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.

Collaborate with grade-level teams, special education staff, and school administrators.

Data collection, progress monitoring, report writing, parent engagement, work as grade level "team member" and other program responsibilities.

Maintain accurate and timely student records.

Participate in professional development and school improvement initiatives.

Assess student learning through multiple measurement strategies.

Create a supportive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.

Valid Massachusetts Initial or Professional Teaching License in Elementary Education (Grade 1-6).

Massachusetts MTEL Communication & Literacy Skills and Elementary Education certification.

Demonstrated knowledge of current best practices in elementary education.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Strong classroom management skills.

Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning platforms.

Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
