An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

School Year Rate of Pay:
$150.00 per day (ESS Midwest, Inc.) Croswell-Lexington Schools is seeking a regular daily building substitute teacher for Frostick Elementary. The building substitute teacher will report to the building on a full-time basis to provide coverage for classrooms and virtual learning (if needed), and assist with other support to the building administrators and teachers as needed.
Required Qualifications :
Minimum 60 hours from a regionally accredited college or university Effective classroom management skills Exemplify professionalism to students and staff Ability to build positive relationships with students and families. Genuine passion for working with students for learning Selected candidate must complete the substitute teacher requirements through Willsub Criminal background check clearance for employment
