Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver dynamic, standards-based instruction aligned with school curriculum for 2nd grade Plan engaging lessons and meaningful activities for a diverse group of students Manage daily classroom activities and ensure a safe, productive learning atmosphere Track and assess student progress, providing feedback and adapting instruction as needed Collaborate with fellow educators to support individual and grade-level learning goals Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians about student development and milestones This contract assignment follows school hours from 8:35 am to 3:28 pm, with a half-hour unpaid lunch, totaling 32.5 hours each week. The classroom is well-supported, and youll have the chance to work directly with a manageable class size of 19 students (maximum contract class size is 28).
