Full Job Description Kindergarten Teacher Location:
Detroit, MI 48219 Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kindergarten Teacher to join our faith-based educational community in Detroit, MI. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing and student-centered learning environment that supports the academic, social, and spiritual growth of young learners. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction aligned with kindergarten curriculum requirements. Create and maintain a positive, faith-based classroom culture that encourages respect, kindness, and collaboration. Implement effective classroom management strategies to promote a safe and productive learning environment. Utilize student-centered learning approaches to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of all students. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student success and school goals. Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing timely feedback and support. Qualifications Experience as a kindergarten teacher or in early childhood education. Strong classroom management skills. Commitment to student-centered learning and differentiated instruction. Ability to foster and maintain a faith-based classroom culture. Collaborative mindset with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
