Job Description
Position Overview:
Chandler Park Academy (CPA) is actively seeking passionate, Certified Elementary Teachers for all grade levels (Kindergarten through 5th grade) for School Year 2026-2027. Ideal candidates range from recent graduates eager to begin their teaching careers to expert, experienced educators committed to nurturing young learners.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with Michigan State Standards, emphasizing foundational literacy and numeracy skills. Use diverse instructional methods tailored to young learners, including technology integration and hands-on learning. Monitor student progress regularly using assessments and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs. Establish and maintain a positive, structured classroom environment promoting inclusion and respect. Communicate consistently with parents and caregivers about student progress and strategies for improvement.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field. Valid Michigan Teaching Certification with elementary education endorsements. Strong knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching strategies. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
