POSITION SUMMARY
Join our team as an Elementary Teacher and inspire the next generation of lifelong learners. This essential role involves the daily planning, delivery, and assessment of comprehensive instruction designed to challenge and support students across the elementary spectrum. You will create a vibrant, inclusive classroom culture that balances academic excellence with social-emotional growth. We are seeking a dedicated educator who utilizes student-driven, and data-informed best practices to enhance student achievement and aligns their teaching with our district's strategic vision for educational excellence.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
? Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution. ? Valid State of Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate ? Preferred multi-subject proficiency or specific grade-level endorsements (e.g., Reading or Math specialties)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver High-Quality Instruction:
Plan and implement engaging, standards-aligned lessons across core subjects (ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies) that spark curiosity and critical thinking. ? Differentiate for

Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress, tailoring instruction to support learners at various levels—from those needing intervention to those requiring enrichment. ?
Maintain Records & Data:
Keep detailed, accurate records of student achievement and use data to drive instructional decisions and goal-setting. ? Partner with
Families:
Maintain proactive and transparent communication with families regarding student academic growth, behavior, and overall well-being. ?
Cultivate Classroom Culture:
Foster a safe, respectful, and well-managed learning environment that promotes positive behavior, collaborative work habits, and student agency. ?
Collaborate & Innovate:
Actively participate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), staff meetings, and district-wide initiatives to stay current with modern pedagogical trends.
