Position Overview :

We are looking for a dedicated Elementary School Teacher to inspire and educate our students. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to nurturing young minds and fostering an inclusive and positive classroom environment. This position offers an opportunity to work collaboratively with a supportive team and make a lasting impact on the academic and personal growth of students.

Responsibilities :

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners. Foster a positive and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning. Regularly assess and track student progress, providing feedback to both students and parents. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and fellow staff members. Participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings, including weekly meetings on Wednesdays from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Uphold and promote Faxon Academy's values of respect, responsibility, and excellence.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education or related field. Valid teaching certification for the state of Michigan. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively. Previous experience teaching elementary students is preferred.
