The successful candidate will foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and academic growth. This full-time position requires a commitment to teaching excellence and the ability to inspire students to reach their full potential. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Create a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, inclusion, and a love for learning. Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, including tests, projects, and observations. Provide timely feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance and behavior. Collaborate with fellow educators, staff, and administration to enhance the educational experience and address student needs. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation. Facilitate classroom discussions and activities that encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and methodologies. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education. Valid teaching certification for elementary education. Previous experience teaching at the elementary level is preferred Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a supportive and engaging classroom environment. Proficiency in using technology and educational software to enhance learning. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Commitment to fostering a culture of respect and inclusivity within the classroom.
