MMSA Lorraine is a Pre-K through 5th grade, non-selective, tuition-free charter school that provides a private school experience to all of its students. With a focus on personalized education, technology, and STEAM programming, we are dedicated to helping our students outperform neighboring districts and reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
Manage and educate students in a classroom setting Promote a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small-group instruction, and student learning Conduct ongoing assessment of student learning, and modifies instructional methods to fit individual students' needs, including students with special needs; conduct individual and small group instruction as needed. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans Adhere to the established teaching curriculum Maintain positive relationships with students and parents Communicate via phone calls and emails with parents on a weekly basis Organize and maintain a system for accurate and complete record-keeping, grading, and reporting for all student activities, achievement, and attendance as required by district procedures and applicable laws. Maintain the health and safety of all students Supervise students in activities that take place out of the classroom during the school day, including activities involving school transportation. Administer standardized tests in accordance with District testing programs.
