An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced homeschool teacher for one third-grade student (male). The ideal candidate will follow CCSD guidelines and have several years of prior teaching or homeschooling experience.
Hours:
8am to 12pm Monday thru Friday (open to discussing most effective routine and hours)
Pay Rate:
Negotiable Responsibilities include creating and implementing a structured daily learning plan, supporting academic growth, and providing a positive, engaging learning environment.
Requirements:
Experience teaching elementary grade levels (preferred) Familiarity with CCSD curriculum standards Strong communication and organizational skills If you are passionate about education and have a proven track record, please reach out with your experience and availability. Duties Develop and implement customized curricula aligned with educational standards, incorporating elements of Montessori, literacy, math, music, and other core subjects. Adapt instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles and special needs, including students with disabilities. Utilize learning technology and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to deliver lessons, track student progress, and manage educational resources efficiently. Conduct ongoing assessment of student performance through formative and summative evaluations, analyzing data to inform instructional modifications. Maintain clear communication with parents or guardians regarding student progress, behavior management strategies, and curriculum adjustments.
Pay:
$21.00 - $27.00 per hour
