Position Description The GO Project is seeking exceptional K-8 teachers with at least two years of demonstrated success as a head teacher for our GO School elementary and middle school programs from October 2026 through May 2027. GO Head Teachers are master teachers with a proven ability to raise student achievement when students are struggling academically or socially. Responsibilities Differentiate highly-engaging, appropriately challenging lessons in reading, writing and math aligned to Common Core Standards and to The GO Project mission and philosophy. Effectively execute lessons utilizing the support staff in the classroom to enable small group and one-on-one instruction. Ensure consistent student data collection and adjust instruction to strategically remediate for misconceptions and lagging understanding. Use GO Project classroom structures, such as Morning Meeting, to develop social emotional skills. Mentor student teachers placed in your classroom. Complete deliverables including, but not limited to, lesson plans, data input, progress reports, and feedback surveys. Qualifications Two or more years of demonstrated success as a K-8 teacher with remarkable student growth and/or achievement results, preferably in a DOE or charter school setting for elementary or middle school students. Fluency using Microsoft Suite and demonstrated comfort learning new technology. Dual-language speakers are a plus. The Head Teacher hours are Saturdays from 8:30 am
  • 1:00 pm . Students are on campus from 9:00
  • 12:00.
Staff Training Dates:
Attendance is mandatory. Non-attendance will make you ineligible for the role. Monday, September 28

Compensation :
GO School Head Teacher compensation is $38 per hour, up to $4120. How to
