We are now hiring for a Pre-Kindergarten teacher to work with children aged 4-5 years!

Qualifications:

Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency Must hold a high school diploma at minimum, Child Development Associate Degree or higher preferred 1-2 years experience working with children, preferred but not required. We are willing to train candidates who are eager to learn! Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations

Responsibilities:

Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children aged 4 to 5 years. Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum and programming. Accepts responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas and playgrounds. Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions & assists in other capacities that Director, or designee, determines is necessary.

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
