Job Description

Providence Montessori is growing and seeks a long-term fulltime position for Primary classroom, Responsible for providing a safe and developmentally appropriate Montessori classroom that aligns with all relevant mission and guiding principles of Providence Montessori School House. The Primary teaching position is responsible for planning and delivering lessons based on the Montessori philosophy, supporting the development of children aged 3 to 6 years in a mixed-age classroom environment. The teacher ensures a safe, nurturing, and respectful atmosphere that aligns with the policies and procedures of Providence Montessori School House.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Designing and implementing age-appropriate Montessori lessons and activities.
  • Promoting the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of each child.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized classroom environment.
  • Demonstrating respect for all children and families, fostering a positive school community.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of students at all times.
