An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Job Description
Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Third Grade Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young learners, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development. This full-time position requires a commitment to providing high-quality education and inspiring students to reach their full potential. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, including tests, assignments, and observations. Provide individualized support to students to address their unique learning needs. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and share resources. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices. Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment. Integrate technology into the classroom to enhance learning experiences. Organize and participate in school events, field trips, and extracurricular activities. Valid teaching certification or license for Elementary K-6 or Grades PK-4. Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans. Proficiency in using educational technology and tools. Strong organizational and time management skills. Previous teaching experience in an elementary school setting is preferred but not required. Hours- 8:35am - 4:05pm
