Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated First Step Teacher to join our early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, guiding their early development and fostering a love for learning. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging curriculum tailored to early childhood development stages, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills Create a warm, inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and effective classroom management strategies Plan and execute age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate child development principles and foster curiosity Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Support children with special needs through individualized instruction and early intervention techniques Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and mandated reporting laws compliance Ensure safety by adhering to first aid and CPR protocols, maintaining a clean and organized classroom, and supervising children at all times Skills Strong knowledge of early childhood education best practices and child development instruction Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and standardized testing methods Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and administrators Ability to manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations Experience teaching physical education or tutoring young children in various subjects including math and literacy education Knowledge of childhood development milestones and early intervention strategies Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification if necessary Join us in shaping the future by inspiring young minds!
