An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Annoor Academy of Chattanooga is an independent, fully accredited, PreK through 6th grade private school that serves the local community. Our small size fosters a close connection amongst students, staff, and families. Job Overview:

Annoor Academy of Chattanooga is looking for teachers to foster and facilitate the intellectual and social development of the children. Classes are small, centrally located, and are presented in a pleasant environment. School culture is friendly, with supportive administration, board and parents.

The teaching candidate must have:

A Bachelor Degree from an accredited university Certified in Elementary or Early Childhood education Hold a current, valid teaching license.
