An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Job Descriptions What We're Looking For:
Positive, student-focused educators with strong content and classroom management skills Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities Committed to high expectations and academic achievement for all students Open to feedback, coaching, and continuous growth Experience in Title I or high-need school settings is a plus Passion for supporting the whole child academically and socially
Qualifications Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required Valid Tennessee teaching license in Elementary Education (K-5) OR current enrollment in an accredited teacher preparation program
Compensation & Additional Info:
Salary Scale based on education and experience - starting at $50,000.00 Eligible positions may qualify for additional pay under the Differentiated Compensation Plan Benefits Licensure Subject to change.
