An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state standards- Provide individualized instruction to students who need extra support
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field- Valid Montessori teaching certification
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting
- Strong knowledge of Montessori curriculum and teaching methods
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
