Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Montessori Teacher (Primary) to inspire and guide children in our early childhood program. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive classroom atmosphere, and supporting children's developmental milestones through Montessori principles. The ideal candidate will bring experience in preschool education, strong communication skills, and a passion for early childhood development. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to Montessori methods, emphasizing independence, literacy, math, and social-emotional growth Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies Communicate regularly with parents about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns in a clear and supportive manner Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons that incorporate early intervention techniques and support diverse learning needs Maintain accurate records of student development, assessments, and standardized testing results Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare regulations at all times Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings Strong knowledge of curriculum development, classroom management, and child development instruction Experience with Montessori teaching methods preferred; certification is a plus Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration Valid first aid and CPR certification required; ongoing training encouraged Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while fostering a love of learning in young children Knowledge of childhood development milestones, standardized testing procedures, and physical education basics is desirable
