Job Description

Primrose Schools Balanced Learning proprietary curriculum includes accredited developmentally-appropriate academics, character development, and child-initiated activities for each age level—Infants through Kindergarten and the after-school Explorers Club. Primrose's approach completely focuses on building the right foundation for active minds, healthy bodies and happy hearts. Accreditation through Cognia. We are recruiting a qualified, talented and dedicated Teacher for our Private Pr-Kindergarten Classroom. Hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm.
Qualifications:
♦ Education or Child Development Degree Preferred ♦ Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency. ♦Ability to relate positively with young children. ♦ Previous teaching or assistant teaching position with a public or private school system, or a quality preschool ♦ Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
Responsibilities:
♦ Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a class of children. ♦ Passion for children and education. ♦Assesses each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis. ♦Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule using the Primrose School curriculum outlines and materials. ♦ Provides an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages creativity, exploration and decision-making by the children. ♦ Maintains the Primrose Schools professional attitude and work behavior. ♦ A mature, responsible, fun loving teacher.
