An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

GED Montessori Full Job Description Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
  • Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
  • Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones
Experience:
  • Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive lessons that promote learning and development
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
