Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Teacher to inspire and educate young learners in a vibrant classroom environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the educational journey of children, fostering their curiosity, creativity, and foundational skills. As an Elementary Teacher, you will create engaging lesson plans, manage classroom activities, and support students' academic and social development. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help cultivate a positive learning atmosphere where every child can thrive and reach their full potential. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, science, and social studies. Utilize learning technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and understanding. Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies, ensuring a safe and respectful environment. Conduct assessments, including standardized testing preparations, to monitor student progress and tailor instruction accordingly. Provide individualized support through tutoring or early intervention for students with diverse learning needs, including those with autism or in special education programs. Incorporate literacy education techniques and writing skills development into daily lessons to promote strong communication abilities. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, school activities, and administrative tasks to foster a cohesive educational community. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; additional certification in elementary education is preferred. Proven classroom experience with children of various ages, ideally within private or Montessori school settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Proficiency in working with learning technology tools and library services to support student research and literacy. Excellent communication skills for effective mentoring, parent engagement, and teamwork. Experience in teaching physical education or integrating movement into lessons is a plus. Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while nurturing a positive learning environment. $46,050.95 - $65,459.21 per year
