An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

certificate, associate's or bachelor's degree in ECE or related field (or equivalent coursework) Minimum 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare facility or active enrollment in an accredited program may be considered with experience. Ability to meet VA licensing standards and pass a background check Willingness to work flexible hours based on program needs Ability to cultivate a safe and stimulating classroom environment Compensation… The hourly rate for this position is between $18.00 - $20.00 per hour. The pay range listed is what we in good faith anticipate offering for this job position. Actual compensation within this range will be determined by several factors, including a candidate's experience, education and training, certifications, geographic location and other relevant organization and business factors.
