We take pride in our close-knit school culture, emphasizing community building, character development, and providing an exceptional educational experience for students from early childhood through middle school. The ideal candidate genuinely enjoys working with children ages 6-9 (Grades 1-3) and is enthusiastic about guiding students to expand, refine, and take ownership of their own learning. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Montessori I / II Certification preferred. Valid Teaching Certificate preferred. Work Experience & Professional Skills 2-5 years of teaching experience in a lower elementary or Montessori classroom preferred. Passion for working with elementary-aged children (approximately 6-9 years old). Strong understanding of student development, classroom management, and individualized instruction. Familiarity with Montessori philosophy, materials, and environment principles preferred. Ability to support and guide students based on their individual learning pace and needs. Patience, empathy, creativity, and strong communication skills. Ability to observe, assess, and document student progress. Fluent in spoken and written English. Proficiency in Spanish or another second language is a plus. Ability to build positive and effective relationships with students, parents. Experience in private school settings or special education is advantageous but not required.
