The Cullen College of Engineering at the University of Houston is seeking applicants for a non-tenure track Adjunct Faculty position in the First Year Experience (FYE) faculty group. Course assignments will be at the undergraduate level, focusing on first-year engineering courses and a limited number of sophomore engineering courses as well. This is a part time , non- benefits eligible, non-tenure-track position, as an adjunct faculty. Appointments are made on a semester base to teach one or more courses depending on department needs, salary commensurate with experience. Qualifications Ph.D. in Engineering with teaching experience at the university level Required Attachments Curriculum Vitae; Unofficial Transcripts; Teaching Philosophy or Statement Official transcripts are required for a faculty appointment and will be requested upon selection of the final candidates. All positions at the University of Houston-System are security sensitive and will require a criminal history check. Individuals conducting research in critical infrastructure areas (i.e., communication infrastructure systems, cybersecurity systems, electric grid, hazardous waste treatment systems, and/or water treatment facilities) are subject to regular review to ensure the security and integrity of the research is maintained.
