Must live within 20 minutes of San Ramon, CA. We are seeking an experienced Essay Writing and English Language instructor to join our team. The ideal instructor will have a strong background in teaching English Language Arts, familiarity with the public school curriculum, and a focus on Essay Writing. Previous teaching experience and related educational qualifications are required.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging lessons tailored to students in Grades 2 and above Guide students through the process of Essay Writing, focusing on structure, content development, and grammar Incorporate creative and effective teaching methods to inspire and improve Writing and Reading skills Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning objectives

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field (Master's preferred) Proven experience teaching Writing to elementary and middle school kids Knowledge of the public school program and curriculum standards Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents and colleagues Must be available after 4:30pm Must have reliable transportation Must be punctual, enthusiastic, responsible, and flexible
