The curriculum and instruction is built upon the core theory that human learning is complex and dynamic. Our classes are in person at Walnut and online.
Job Description:
As a teacher, you will be providing reading and writing instruction in a small classroom setting of 4-8 students using TLG curriculum. Students are in grades K
  • 12.
Classes:
TLG Classes are Monday
  • Friday @ 3pm-8pm, Saturday @ 9am-8pm and Sunday @ 9am-2pm.
Classes are online and in-person. Classes assigned to teachers are based on teacher and class availability.
Responsibilities:
  • Read, edit and provide feedback for student compositions
  • Monitor and manage student behavior in classroom
  • Provide reading/writing lessons
  • Lead guided reading and book discussions
  • Communicate with students and parents
  • Communicate with TLG staff Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in English or related major
  • Excellent reading and writing skills
  • Experience working with K
  • 12 grade students
  • Experience teaching online and in classroom setting
