Pleasant Hill Academy, INC is a Christ-centered private school located in the heart of Poinciana, Florida. Our mission is to provide academic excellence while fostering spiritual growth, character development, and a deep sense of purpose in our students. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher who is committed to integrating faith and learning in a nurturing and engaging classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment for all students. Assess and monitor student progress through regular evaluations and feedback. Collaborate with colleagues and parents to enhance student learning experiences. Utilize innovative teaching methods and technology to facilitate learning. Maintain classroom discipline and promote positive behavior among students. Participate in professional development and training opportunities. Organize and lead extracurricular activities to enrich student engagement.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher and state teaching certification Previous experience teaching ENGLISH and/or
LANGUAGE
at the K-12 level A committed Christian with a demonstrated alignment with the school's mission and values. Experience in a classroom setting 2 References (Will be contacted) Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs. Proficient in using educational technology and tools. Positive attitude and dedication to fostering a collaborative environment.
