Qualifications:
Active, valid State Teaching License with Middle School ELA endorsement. ESL endorsement required. Demonstrated experience working with middle grade students. Background in bilingual or dual-language education and curriculum implementation. Strong communication, adaptability, and organizational skills. A commitment to culturally responsive teaching practices.
Responsibilities:
Design and deliver dynamic English Language Arts lessons in a bilingual/dual-language environment. Adapt and assess curriculum to meet the needs of diverse, multilingual learners. Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to create a welcoming, inclusive classroom atmosphere. Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed to support academic and language development. Maintain active communication with families, providing updates and resources to foster student success.
