Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Louisiana Teaching License/Certification with appropriate endorsements for ESL/EL instruction Previous experience in general education or ELA teaching strongly preferred Expertise in designing engaging lesson plans for diverse student populations Demonstrated cultural empathy and adaptability within a classroom setting Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans focusing on English language acquisition Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment for all learners Assess and document student progress, providing targeted support as needed Collaborate with colleagues and families to promote student achievement Participate in school-based meetings and professional development as required Maintain compliance with district and state guidelines
