Position:
High School English Language Arts Teacher (English Literature, American Literature, British Literature, World Literature)
Location:
Warren, MI About Us:
Muneer Academy is a private school affiliated with Al-Ikhlas Training Academy, dedicated to providing quality education to students in Warren, Michigan. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and qualified individuals to join our team of educators.
Qualifications:
Teaching certification is strongly recommended. Non-certified teachers are welcome to apply; prior educational experience will be considered. Current Michigan Driver's License in good standing.
Responsibilities:
As a teacher at Muneer Academy, you will be responsible for: Creating a
Motivating Learning Environment:
Inspire students to take ownership of their education and foster a positive learning atmosphere.
Lesson Planning:
Develop and implement daily lesson plans, tailoring them to meet the needs of your students.
Attendance Management:
Ensure regular attendance of students in all classes and extracurricular activities.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of student progress, including daily attendance and progress reports for grading periods.
Classroom Management:
Establish and communicate classroom expectations to maintain a conducive learning environment.
Instruction:
Provide basic instructions in work, recreation, and housekeeping activities.
Other Duties:
Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by the administration.
Education and Experience:
Preferred:
Two years of prior teaching experience with students under the age of 21. A genuine passion for education and youth development.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
