Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging creative writing lessons for students of various ages and skill levels. Teach narrative structure, character development, dialogue, poetry, descriptive writing, and other key elements of creative writing. Encourage students to explore a range of genres including fiction, poetry, memoir, and drama. Provide individualized feedback and revision strategies to help students strengthen their writing. Foster a positive, inclusive, and imaginative classroom environment. Facilitate writing workshops, group critiques, and publishing or performance opportunities where applicable. Track student progress and communicate with parents/guardians or program staff as needed. Stay current with trends in literature, youth writing, and creative teaching methods.
Qualifications:
