This full-time contract role offers the unique opportunity to support general education and language acquisition, while fostering cross-cultural understanding. You'll collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to ensure students have the tools they need to thrive in both academic and social settings.

Qualifications and Skills:

Current teaching certification or eligibility to obtain in related field Experience or training working with English Language Learners preferred Proficiency in interpreting or facilitating communication in at least one foreign language highly desirable Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs Excellent organizational and communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver engaging lessons for students at various levels of English proficiency Support classroom teachers with differentiation and co-teaching as needed Utilize assessment data to inform instruction and track student progress Provide interpretation services for students and families where necessary, fostering an inclusive school community Coordinate with staff to develop language support plans and interventions Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in ELL instruction Participate in parent meetings, individualized education plan (IEP) processes, and school events to support student success
