Salary Range:

$23.86 - $26.03 per hour based on the 2025-2027 salary schedules for district paraprofessionals.

Required Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelor's degree (preferably in a related field) Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive and effective working relationships Demonstrated ability to work with high school students who speak a language other than English Ability to effectively use district technology Demonstrated ability to work effectively cross-culturally Exceptional organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience working in a secondary educational environment Proficiency in English and Spanish Prior experience as an educational paraprofessional Ability to show initiative and function as a self-starter Ability to maintain confidential information Experience working with immigrant and refugee students Essential functions of the position may include but are not limited to the following: Work collaboratively with the ESL Team and content teachers to best meet the needs of English learners Assisting students with classroom assignments Facilitate small group work Assist students in understanding their career and college pathways Translation or interpretation of assignments in English and Spanish Assist in access to academic acceleration of English learners
