Job Description

Inspire growth and ignite a love for language as an English Language Arts educator for grades 5-8. This full-time, contract opportunity brings your passion for teaching to students near Saint Paul, MN, guiding them through a dynamic school year from August 31st to June 11th. As a key member of a supportive academic environment, you'll craft engaging lesson plans, foster critical thinking, and nurture confident communicators prepared for success in higher grades.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid teaching license; Tier 3 or 4 licensure preferred Experience in General Education, specifically English Language Arts instruction in grades 5-8 Strong classroom management and differentiation skills to reach diverse learners Ability to collaborate with colleagues and engage families in the learning process Dedication to ongoing professional development and improvement
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, standards-based ELA curriculum to middle grade students Develop and implement diverse instructional strategies for reading, writing, and literature Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods as needed Create an encouraging, inclusive, and positive classroom atmosphere Communicate progress and partner with students, parents, and school staff Participate in faculty meetings, collaborative teams, and school activities
