Job Description

Description:
The general education teacher provides classroom oversight and instruction to all assigned students, including those who learn differently, within a contracted position in a public, parochial or private school. This is a full-time teaching position for a Missouri certified teacher for grades 3-5 teaching English Language Arts at a North St. Louis City private school. The teacher will assume full management of the classroom and curriculum/activities, assigns grades, and updates parents on student progress.
Employment Status :
10-month Full-time, exempt, at will
Days/Hours:
40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, occasional evenings
Requirements:
Current Missouri DESE teacher certification K-12 Two or more years of lead teaching experience in a general education setting Ability to determine and meet the academic and social/emotional needs of the students in the classroom. Ability to work within the culture and expectations of the school assignment
