This contract position runs from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, with a Monday-Friday schedule (7:50 am-3:50 pm, including a 30-minute daily break). You'll guide 8th graders through essential ELA standards and develop their skills in reading, writing, and critical thinking.

Desired Qualifications:

Pennsylvania Instructional I or II Certification in ELA (8th grade level) preferred Open to candidates with out-of-state or emergency certification Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience teaching ELA in a middle school setting Strong classroom management abilities and a passion for fostering student growth Ability to design engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards

Primary Responsibilities:
