Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate SAT English Teacher to join our educational team, dedicated to empowering high school students to excel in their SAT preparation. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for teaching English and test-taking strategies, along with experience working with teenagers in both online and in-person settings. Duties Deliver comprehensive SAT English instruction, focusing on reading comprehension, writing skills, and test-taking strategies Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse student needs and learning styles Utilize educational technology tools and online tutoring platforms to enhance learning experiences Provide targeted ACT and SAT preparation guidance, including practice tests and review sessions Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and student engagement techniques Track student progress regularly, adjusting instruction to maximize improvement Support students with test-taking skills tutoring, essay writing, and critical thinking development Requirements Proven experience working with high school students in test preparation or classroom settings Strong knowledge of SAT English content, including reading passages, grammar, and writing conventions Experience with online tutoring platforms and integrating educational technology into lessons Excellent presentation skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teenagers Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum and lesson plans aligned with test standards Background in teaching or tutoring ACT/SAT preparation courses preferred Exceptional communication skills, patience, and a passion for helping students succeed in standardized testing environments
Pay:
$25.00 - $40.00 per hour
