English Teacher - K-12 Sun Bright Academy - 4.0 Frisco, TX Job Details Part-time $25 - $30 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications School experience Teaching Certification English Education Working with students English Full Job Description Sun Bright Academy is looking for a passionate and experienced English Teacher to join our learning center in Frisco, TX . The teacher will work with K-12 students in both small-group classes (2-4 students) and private one-on-one sessions .

Class Size:
1-4 students Responsibilities Teach English Language Arts (ELA) to elementary, middle, and/or high school students. Provide individualized instruction based on each student's academic needs.
Support students with:
Reading comprehension Writing and grammar Vocabulary Essay writing Literature Critical thinking Communication skills Align instruction with Frisco ISD and Texas curriculum standards . Help students improve classroom performance, grades, and confidence. Prepare students for STAAR, PSAT, and SAT English/Reading/Writing when applicable. Provide regular feedback to parents regarding student progress. Maintain a positive, engaging, and structured learning environment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Literature, or a related field preferred. Teaching or tutoring experience with K-12 students . Strong knowledge of Texas/Frisco-area curriculum. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with students in small groups and one-on-one settings . Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills. Passion for helping students achieve academic success. Preferred Qualifications Texas teaching certification preferred. Experience teaching middle and high school English . Experience with
SAT/PSAT
preparation . Familiarity with STAAR English/Reading assessments . Experience working with students from different academic levels. Schedule Part-time hours, primarily after school and evenings on weekdays , with possible weekend availability.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 6.0 - 14.0 per week
