ELA Interventionist - Part-Time We are seeking a Part-Time ELA Interventionist to support students and ELA teachers at a local school during the 2026-2027 school year .
Location:
2755 N Grandview Ave, Odessa, TX 79762
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, during school hours
Position:
Part-Time ELA Interventionist About the Position The ELA Interventionist will work directly with students in small-group settings to provide targeted English Language Arts support. This position will also support multiple ELA teachers throughout the school day . You will help students strengthen reading, writing, comprehension, vocabulary, and other foundational ELA skills while working closely with classroom teachers and school staff. Responsibilities Provide small-group ELA intervention and academic support Work with students to strengthen reading and writing skills Support reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and written communication Work with multiple ELA teachers throughout the school day Monitor and document student progress Help identify and address student learning gaps Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment Collaborate with teachers and school staff Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Strong knowledge of K-12 English Language Arts Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with small groups of students Ability to collaborate with multiple teachers and school staff Passion for supporting student academic growth Previous teaching, tutoring, or intervention experience Important Assignment Information This is a school-based, need-dependent assignment .
