The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching our department's paired co-req courses:

ENGL-0043

("Integrated Reading and Writing") and

ENGL-1143

(Introduction to Critical Reading and Academic Writing"). The successful candidate will collaborate with composition and coreq instructors as well as academic support programs to ensure that curricula and student support measures are consistent, up-to-date, and in compliance with state and university guidelines. As a faculty member in the Department of English, Humanities, and Philosophy, you will be expected to: (1) Teach 12 credit hours (4 courses) per semester; (2) contribute to the teaching mission of the department; (3) have a commitment to MSU Texas's core values; (4) Hold regular onsite office hours; (5) Collect and report data necessary for program assessment and state requirements; (6) Communicate and collaborate with faculty and support programs regarding curricula and student progress.
