Position description Position Description The Department of African American & African Studies at UC Davis welcomes applications for undergraduate courses in the Winter and Spring quarters of the 2026-27 academic year. Salary The posted salary range is for a 100% appointment for a Unit 18 Lecturer, which is based on teaching an average of 6 classes per quarter. The average expected appointment for this position may be 42-50% over one quarter. Payment for teaching an individual course is a fraction of this salary range based on the student enrollment of the class.
