Location Statesboro Campus - Statesboro, GA Department Information Center for Wildlife Education Job Summary The Student Assistant will support the Center for Wildlife Education as a Wildlife Assistant on the Statesboro Campus beginning Spring 2026. Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period. Responsibilities Implements and delivers educational programs Assists with animal husbandry, which includes: Intense cleaning Training Handing of the Center's vast collection of reptiles and raptors Shift Specifics Up to 25 hours per week Flexible with schedule of availability Must be available to work some nights and weekends May require working in inclement weather Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University. Proposed Salary $10.00 - $14.00 per hour This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
