Mulberry Grade School Job Summary Mulberry School is seeking an enthusiastic Illinois State University student eligible for Federal Work-Study to serve as a Before Care Supervisor for our preschool and kindergarten program. Gain valuable experience, build your resume, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners! This position is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Education, Child Development, Psychology, Social Work, Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, or related fields who are looking to gain hands-on experience working with young children. Qualified applicants may have the opportunity to receive additional daytime hours as a Teaching Assistant, providing valuable experience in an early childhood classroom setting.Responsibilities:
Supervise children ages 3-5 during our Before Care program. Provide a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment before the school day begins. Facilitate age-appropriate activities, games, and free play. Assist with student arrival and classroom transitions. Communicate professionally with staff and families. Follow school safety procedures and expectations. Additional Information Student employees are eligible to participate in the University's 403(b) Plan. More information can be found here.
