Hubspot Key Context & Scope Organizational Context:
The McGrath Institute for Church Life partners with Catholic leaders, parishes, and schools to address pastoral challenges through research, education, and formation Program Focus (STEP/Online Learning): STEP and Camino provide online, not-credit-bearing, courses in Theology, serving lay leaders, Catholic education professionals, and diaconate formation.
Position Dynamics :
The Technology Assistant supports the daily operations of online courses at the McGrath Institute; the offerings typically involve roughly 20-30 courses operating in each of 5 sessions per year. In this a temporary role, the workload will likely fluctuate based on the course calendar, offering flexible hours (typically 10-20 hours per week).
Qualifications Education :
Bachelor's degree
Degree Knowledge :
Academic background in Online Learning or Theology strongly preferred.
Skills :
Ideal candidate will have experience with digital learning tools including Canvas or other LMS, Panopto or other video editing tools, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines. Bilingual English-Spanish.
