Researcher (part-time) New York University - 4.2 New York, NY Job Details Part-time $35 - $37 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications Master's degree Full Job Description The NYU Steinhardt Department of Teaching and Learning seeks a part-time researcher to support an evaluation of an early childhood curriculum. The project, directed by Dr. Susan Neuman, is designed to evaluate the effects of the Red Thread knowledge-building curriculum, which is currently in use in a selected number of Uncommon Schools in New York City. The evaluation will include pre-post assessments to measure students' progress, and observation of lessons in action. The part-time researcher will collaborate with Dr. Neuman to recruit research assistants, and will be responsible for scheduling assessments with research assistants, reviewing materials, and recording de-identified data. This is a part-time position of 6-8 hours per week, with an anticipated start date of early October of 2026. In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly pay rate for the position will be $35-$37 per hour. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
