Specific Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher in creating and developing kid-friendly activities within an enriching learning environment related to the curriculum and themes Prepare for all in-classroom lessons, outdoor activities, cultural workshops under the guidance of lead teacher, program director and supervising staff members Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all facilities and classrooms Maintain classroom management and engage with students in a professional manner Assist workshop marketing effort including social media and post-workshop evaluation Other administrative support, as needed. Education and qualifications most suited for this internship College students, recent graduates, and graduate students in humanities, education, or marketing Previous teaching experience a plus Excellent attention to detail Reliable self-starter and problem-solver who can plan independently to meet deadlines Clearly communicate Flexibility and ability to multi-task Friendly personality Proficiency using photography and video equipment a strong plus Schedule This is a full-time, temporary position for the summer from July 8 - August 16. Candidates are expected to work weekdays, at least 35 hours per week, from 8:30 - 3:30 PM. Compensation This is an unpaid internship.
